I loved the room they gave me (I had requested one on a high floor with an external view) as it had a view of Matsuyama castle; the room was really clean with a big comfortable bed and lots of counter space; the window in the room opened (unlike in many hotels in Japan) and this is really refreshing; the use of a bicycle was very convenient (although payable, depending on the usage time); check out at 11...

The location is really convenient, within walking distance from all the most important touristic attractions and shopping areas. Once in town, I never needed to use public transport; but if you wish, the tram stop is a few hundred meters from the hotel.
