Smile Hotel Matsuyama

We loved our stay here. It was a a great area close to the trolley, Matsuyama Castle, a peaceful gorgeous park, restaurants, grocery stores, Dogo Onsen and a dope dance studio. They even offered us Jammies to wear, many amenities and changed our towels daily for no extra charge. The room was more spacious then many in Japan. The WiFi was strong. They had bikes to rent. The window had a pleasant city view and wasn’t blurred out like many Japanese hotel/hostel/home windows. The cleaning staff were friendlier than at many other places and spoke with us. It was a super clean space with a lovely long desk for working. Water pressure was fantastic. Warm and cozy place.

Breakfast was a deal and delicious! Also the bed is more a Queen size than double.

The emplacement is incredible, you can go by foot to the castle and there are transports just in front to go to the dogo onsen (you can also go by foot) There are big windows so you can have a lot of air easily which is always enjoyable

Location was very good. Near the tram stop. Convenience stores nearby. Restaurants and shopping with walking distance.
